Introduction 56 [RFC4071]appoints the IETF chair, the IAB chair, and the ISOC 57 President/CEO as ex officio voting members to the IAOC and the IETF 58 Trust[RFC4371]. Allowing flexibility in this appointment model 59 allows the burden on these leadership position to be reduced which 60 makes them more attractive for potential candidates. 62 2. IAOC and Trust Membership modification 64 The IETF chair, the IAB chair, and the ISOC President/CEO may 65 delegate their responsibilities to other persons. The delegations by 66 the IETF chair and the IAB chair need to be confirmed by the IESG and 67 IAB respectively. The terms of delegation is for a longer term for 68 instance aligned with the IESG and IAB appointment cycles (roughly 69 anual). 71 3.
