Adam Roach, Real-time Applications and Infrastructure Area

Adam Roach is an Area Director for the Applications and Real-Time (ART) area of the IETF. Adam has worked in the IETF since 1998 as a key contributor to to real-time communication technologies. He has authored 20 RFCs, including RFC 3265, which forms the basis of numerous core features of the SIP protocol. He has previously served as a chair for the XCON, SIPCORE, and NETVC working groups. Adam has also contributed to work in 3GPP and W3C.

Adam is currently a Principal Engineer at Mozilla. Prior to joining Mozilla, Adam worked in the Tekelec CTO Team, and was a partner at Estacado Systems.
